Boudoir after abuse

Violence against women is not limited to socioeconomic status, race, age, or cultural background.

Abuse of any form is never the fault of the person being harmed. Abuse can come in many forms including physical or verbal maltreatment, injury, assault, violation, rape, unjust practices, crimes, or other types of aggression. Victims can sometimes carry this trauma for years and decades in silence. For others, they speak out and help others. Healing is a lifelong journey and everyones path is their own.

At Saraphim Art, I want to make sure these clients are comfortable, and feel safe through out their session.

As for our client Melanee, she shares a little about her story and how boudoir after abuse gave her back the power.

Melanee (She/Her)

“Due to childhood sexual abuse, I have spent all of my life disliking the way I look and have never felt sexy..

That changed during my shoot.”

“I now feel confident and am embracing my sexuality.”

“Sarah also asked me if something was a trigger from my trauma. She went above and beyond to make me feel safe. She has done what many, many therapists could not.”

“You can trust that Sarah will guide you along in the process. I never felt awkward. Sarah is not just a photographer, but a true healer. She will show you the true sexy you. She has a fantastic gift. Let her share it with you.”
